TRAINING TERMS&CONDITIONS
Last updated: March 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to all training courses, workshops, and educational services provided by The Seoul Formula (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking a training course, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Bookings & Payments
A non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your training place.
The remaining balance must be paid either in advance or on the training day, as specified at the time of booking.
Failure to pay the remaining balance may result in refusal of entry to the training.
Online Training Access
For online courses, access will be provided through our online learning platform.
Students will receive login details to access course materials after purchase.
Online training access is provided for 12 months from the date of enrolment, unless otherwise stated.
Course access is granted to the registered student only and must not be shared with others.
We reserve the right to suspend access if course materials are shared or misused.
Account Security
Students are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
You must not share your login details with others or allow multiple users to access the course using your account.
If we suspect that an account is being shared, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the course without refund.
Platform Access
Online courses are hosted through a third-party learning platform. We are not responsible for temporary service interruptions caused by the platform provider, although we will make reasonable efforts to resolve access issues.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Booking fees are non-refundable.
If you are unable to attend your scheduled training, please notify us as soon as possible.
Rescheduling is subject to availability and at our discretion.
If we are required to cancel or reschedule a course due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered an alternative date or a refund of any fees paid excluding the booking fee.
Digital Course Purchases
Online training courses are digital educational products.
Due to the nature of digital educational content, all online course purchases are non-refundable once access to the course has been granted. By purchasing an online course, you acknowledge that access to digital materials is provided immediately after enrolment.
If you experience technical issues accessing the course, please contact us and we will make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue.
Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
By purchasing an online course, you acknowledge that access to digital training materials is granted immediately after purchase.
Once course access has been provided, the product is considered delivered and non-refundable in accordance with our digital product policy.
If a payment dispute or chargeback is initiated after course access has been granted, we reserve the right to suspend access to the course and any associated training materials while the dispute is investigated.
We also reserve the right to provide evidence of course access, login activity, and course completion data to the payment provider in order to resolve the dispute.
Attendance & Participation
Full attendance is required to complete the training.
Late arrival or early departure may result in incomplete training.
We reserve the right to refuse training or remove a participant if behaviour is deemed disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate.
Training Location & Travel
All in-person training takes place at our private studio in South Wales, United Kingdom.
Students are responsible for arranging their own travel and accommodation where required.
The Seoul Formula accepts no responsibility for travel, accommodation, or related expenses incurred when attending training.
We recommend confirming your training date before making any travel arrangements.
Health, Safety & Responsibility
Training involves practical elements which require participants to act responsibly and follow instructions.
You confirm that you are fit to participate in the training and will disclose any relevant medical conditions prior to attendance.
We reserve the right to adapt or restrict participation for safety reasons.
Certification
Certificates are issued upon successful completion of the training.
For in-person training, certification is based on attendance, participation, and demonstration of the treatment during the training session.
For online courses, certification is issued once the student has completed the course content, passed the knowledge quiz, and submitted a practical video assessment demonstrating the treatment.
Assessment videos must be submitted using the instructions provided within the course. If the required standard is not met, students may be asked to resubmit their assessment before certification is issued.
Certificates are issued as PDF documents via email once the assessment has been reviewed and approved.
Completion of training does not guarantee professional insurance acceptance, employment, or licensing approval.
Intellectual Property
All course content, manuals, techniques, and materials remain the intellectual property of The Seoul Formula.
Materials are for personal educational use only and must not be copied, shared, resold, or reproduced without written permission.
Recording of training sessions is not permitted unless agreed in advance.
Online course content must not be downloaded, redistributed, screen recorded, or shared with third parties.
Any unauthorised distribution or sharing of course materials may result in removal of course access and possible legal action.
Unauthorised distribution of course materials may result in immediate removal of course access, revocation of certification, and potential legal action.
Liability
Training is provided for educational purposes only.
We are not responsible for business outcomes, insurance acceptance, or regulatory approval following training.
Participation is at your own risk. We accept no liability for loss, injury, or damages except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
Course Changes
We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to course content, structure, or dates where necessary.
Any significant changes will be communicated as early as possible.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Professional Responsibility
Our training courses are designed for qualified beauty professionals or individuals undertaking professional skincare education.
It is the student’s responsibility to ensure they comply with local laws, insurance requirements, and professional regulations within their own country or region before offering treatments to clients.
The Seoul Formula cannot guarantee that training will meet the regulatory requirements of every country.
